PROF. AYOBAMI SALAMI
Professor Ayobami Salami is an internationally renowned environmental scientist, academic leader, and development expert with over three decades of experience in natural resources management, geoinformatics, climate change, and sustainable development. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Inclusive Development for Women Foundation (IDWF); bringing with him a wealth of interdisciplinary knowledge, global networks, and visionary leadership.
Professor Salami has held several distinguished leadership roles. He served as the Pioneer Vice Chancellor of First Technical University (Tech-U), now Abiola Ajimobi Technical University in Ibadan (2017–2022), Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) at Obafemi Awolowo University (2011–2016), and Director of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Studies at OAU (2006–2010). He is the founding Head of the Space Applications and Environmental Science Laboratory (SPAEL) and a globally respected voice in environmental impact assessment and policy consultations.
Prof. Salami was the pioneer Centre Leader, World Bank sponsored African Centre of Excellence on ICT-Driven Knowledge Park from 2014 to 2016. He has coordinated many multi-disciplinary projects for several national, regional and international organizations. He was the Program Coordinator (West and Central Africa), for the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida)- sponsored International Training Program on Education for Sustainable Development in Higher Education, in 2008; and Consultant to UNEP for the Terminal Evaluation of Project GEF/GFL-2328-2770-4889 on Integrated Ecosystem Management in the Trans-Boundary Areas Between Nigeria and Niger in 2010. He was the Nigerian Principal Investigator for the IDRC multi-country Research Project (N°:105714 – 001) on The Practice of Ethics in Health and Environmental Research in Africa from 2010-2013. Prof. Salami coordinated the Nigerian capacity building component of the EU-sponsored project on Monitoring of Environment for Security in Africa (MESA) from 2014-2017. He had a brief stint in the private sector when he worked as the Senior Research Adviser on Environmental Assessment, Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), Port-Harcourt, Nigeria (2010-2011).
He was a Nigerian delegate to the United Nations Committee on Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) in 2006, and has contributed to shaping global frameworks for space-based sustainable development. His deep commitment to education and research has produced a formidable academic legacy. He has facilitated institutional capacity building programs in over 12 African countries. He is currently a Co-Researcher and Nigerian Team Lead of the DAAD funded project (ID:57656435) on International SDG Network Promoting Higher Education and Research in Togo and Nigeria, running from 2023-2026
NSEABASI GEORGE UFFORD
is the visionary Executive Director, Co-Founder, and Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Inclusive Development for Women Foundation (IDWF), She is also an Africa Impact Academy Fellow (2025) and a Reach for Gold Fellow (2025).a women- and youth-led nonprofit dedicated to dismantling systemic barriers that limit women’s and girls’ access to education, healthcare, economic opportunities, digital inclusion, safety, political participation, and representation. Under her leadership, IDWF works to end gender-based violence, Female Genital Mutilation, maternal and child mortality, and all forms of exclusion while promoting dignity, equity, and inclusion for women, adolescent girls (with or without disabilities), and youth across Nigeria.
Her leadership is shaped by a powerful blend of lived experience, academic achievement, and over a decade of technical expertise in public health, education, climate-smart agriculture, gender equity, and inclusive systems building. Rising from childhood poverty, educational delays, and personal loss, she pursued her education with determination earning a B.Sc. in Human Genetics and Biotechnology from the University of Calabar and an M.Sc. in Public Health from the National Open University of Nigeria. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Public Health, further strengthening her expertise in advancing women’s health and development initiatives. She also completed an internship at the In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Centre, National Hospital Abuja, and volunteered with the Life Builders Initiative (LBI).
Nseabasi has held leadership and technical roles with organizations including Disinfect Her Empowerment Initiative (Director of Programs), Development Initiative for Community Enhancement (Program Manager), and Community Rights and Sustainable Development Initiative (Deputy Executive Director). She has led research, designed and implemented high-impact programs, mobilized resources, and driven advocacy and campaigns on maternal and child health, menstrual hygiene and WASH, RTIs, Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights, Female Genital Mutilation, Gender-Based Violence and PSEAH, economic empowerment, disability inclusion, and food systems innovation. She is also the Founder of FarmsJoy Arena and the Young Women in Agriculture Initiative (YWIA) platforms empowering rural women through agribusiness training, climate resilience, and sustainable food systems. Her innovation in agriculture earned her the Overall Prize at the 2023 AgriPitch Business Competition organized by the African Projects Development Centre supported by African Development Bank.
A certified project management professional, health safety and environment professional and trained social intrapreneur for health innovation, she holds over a dozen professional certifications from institutions such as Ashoka, the African Union/CIEFFA, Skilledge Consulting, SMEDAN, and international universities via Coursera. Her expertise spans human resources, proposal development, entrepreneurship, reproductive health, genomic medicine, environmental safety, and urban farming. She has also authored national policy briefs and tools on disability inclusion, youth advocacy, and women’s economic empowerment under donor-funded projects. Driven by an unwavering belief that empowered women and girls empower nations, Nseabasi continues to champion inclusion, equity, and sustainable and scalable change, development and impact for the most marginalized communities in Nigeria.
JOSHUA TOCHUKWU ATUCHI
Joshua Tochukwu Atuchi is a Finance and Management professional passionate about driving social and economic transformation through equity, inclusion, and innovation. A First-Class graduate of Management and Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University and an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA), Joshua brings a blend of technical expertise, leadership experience, and a deep commitment to advancing human welfare.
In his professional journey with African Capital Alliance and Chevron Nigeria Limited, Joshua has developed strong competencies in financial analysis, treasury management, compliance reporting, and strategic decision-making. As a tutor with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), he not only strengthened students’ technical knowledge but also promoted a culture of collaboration, accountability, and resilience.
Beyond corporate finance, Joshua has demonstrated outstanding leadership in youth empowerment and civic engagement. As President of the Cedar Youth Network and leader within the Tax Club of Obafemi Awolowo University, he organized large-scale conferences, contributed to impactful policy discussions, and created platforms for dialogue that promoted education, healthy relationships, and professional development among young people. His leadership style reflects a strong commitment to partnership, collaboration, and integrity.

TREASURE ADEDIGBA ESQ.
Treasure Adedigba is a seasoned legal professional with extensive expertise in regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and nonprofit advisory. She has a proven track record of delivering strategic legal and compliance guidance to clients across a wide range of sectors including healthcare, not-for-profit organizations, finance, technology, and media.
Over the years, Treasure has made notable contributions to the development and sustainability of not-for-profit organizations. She has provided legal support to numerous NGOs working to empower marginalized communities, promote gender equality, improve access to healthcare, and influence government policy. Her advisory services have spanned organizational structuring, legal due diligence, and the implementation of frameworks that enhance operational transparency and accountability. In her roles, Treasure worked in strengthening governance systems within nonprofit institutions. She has successfully led initiatives involving the constitution and support of functional boards, facilitation of strategic planning sessions, organization of effective board meetings, and the drafting and review of critical governance documents such as constitutions, board charters, and compliance policies.
Treasure also provides counsel to international NGOs on compliance with Nigerian laws relating to employment, contractual engagements, local operations, and strategic partnerships. Her hands-on legal support has enabled these organizations to navigate the regulatory landscape and achieve their missions more effectively.
DR. AYOMIDE OLUWATOONI AYO-SALAMI
As a passionate advocate for positive change, Dr. Ayomide Oluwatooni Ayo-Salami believes that true heroes are those who identify problems, devise solutions, and drive implementation. She bagged a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from American University of Integrative Sciences and has since graduation been a dedicated medical doctor, driven by a commitment to action. Growing up, her parents instilled in her the confidence to pursue her dreams and encouraged her to strive for excellence, and this shaped her perspectives. But she came to realize that it is not the same for every girl out there in Nigeria.
As Dr. Ayo-Salami grew older, she noticed ladies who by the fact that they are females are controlled and bound by society, cultures and traditions. These challenges include genital mutilation, physical and emotional abuse as well as other things like rape. The girl child has always been and still a victim of the societal norms and tradition. So, every time Dr. Ayo-Salami sees an opportunity to lend a helping-hand, she makes herself available. In 2018, she became a health coordinator in a non-profit organization called God’s Heritage Foundation in Iwo Nigeria, that sought to provide support to children emotionally, financially, and health check-ups. She has also assisted in organizing health fairs under the Mission Aid Network in Atlanta Georgia and Rochester Minnesota, USA in 2022 and 2025. Dr. Ayo-Salami also volunteered in Helmy’s prison facility by assisting in providing women health services such as pap smears, Obstetric sonography and other gynecological checkup required for the female inmates. Inclusive Development for Women Foundation (IDWF) is another opportunity for her, not only to apprehend the crippling challenges but also implement solutions; an opportunity to help another girl child.
GRACE ETUKUDO WILSON
Grace Etukudo Wilson is a young Nigerian woman with a disability who is passionate about advancing disability inclusion. She is a dedicated disability rights advocate, social entrepreneur, and community leader from Eket in Akwa Ibom State. She is the Founder of Beacon of Hope Foundation for Disabilities, where she champions the rights, inclusion, and empowerment of persons with disabilities in Nigeria. Grace is also the CEO of Farmonique Resources, a business focused on producing quality cleaning agents and groundnut oil while creating economic opportunities for marginalized groups. A graduate of Biochemistry from the university of Calabar, Nigeria, a post graduate degree holder in education, and National Diploma (ND) in Management Information Technology.
A survivor of triple road accidents, Grace draws strength from her lived experience to advocate for inclusive policies, especially in oil host communities. She currently leads several community-based initiatives focused on social inclusion, economic development, and disability justice. Her leadership has been strengthened by trainings with the YALI Network and the Intersectional Leadership Incubator Fellowship.
MS. ABIMBOLA AKIODE
Ms. Abimbola Akiode is a devoted mother and accomplished professional with extensive expertise in administration, management, and strategic leadership. Over the years, she has served in diverse capacities, demonstrating an exceptional ability to lead, organize, and inspire individuals and teams toward impactful outcomes. Her work extends beyond professional boundaries into the realm of social advocacy, where she is a passionate champion for the girl child and women’s empowerment.
With a B.Sc. (Hons) in English and numerous professional courses to her credit, Ms. Akiode combines academic excellence with practical leadership skills. She has built a strong track record in management, strategic decision-making, and program implementation—especially in initiatives that address the needs and aspirations of women and adolescents.
A significant part of her life’s work has been dedicated to adolescent development, mentoring young girls to realize their full potential, and guiding them through critical stages of personal, educational, and career growth. She has a keen interest in sustainable development for females, particularly in areas of health, social inclusion, and life skills that enable long-term success.
Through her active involvement in empowerment projects, Ms. Akiode has become a trusted role model, shaping the lives of countless young women and girls by equipping them with the knowledge, confidence, and resilience to thrive in all spheres of life.
